SESOC is excited to be hosting another high-quality conference for structural engineers and those with an interest in the built environment.

Emerging Structural Engineers Stream at the SESOC 2019 Conference

The format of the SESOC Conference this year will include, for the first time, an ‘Emerging Structural Engineers Stream’, with the aim of encouraging early career engineers to engage with the diverse conference programme, to enable networking with fellow professionals, and to be a part of an interactive debate on issues that are relevant and topical in the industry.

The theme for the ESE Stream is “Learning Through Experiences”.

We would like to invite early career engineers (less than 10 years experience) to submit an abstract in support of the theme.  This could include, but is not limited to, project-based learning, learning experiences with regards to site monitoring, construction processes, buildability, analysis and design, professionalism, ethics, and sustainable design.

Submission information, including a template document, can be found on the conference website. Please note on your submission that your abstract is for the ESE Stream.

Abstract Submission closes on 12pm Sunday 23 March.

Authors should include a short paragraph detailing their career history and a written commitment to personally attend and present the paper at the conference, if the paper or presentation is accepted.
