On 23 August 2018 the Auckland branch held its annual Centennial Awards. The sold-out event at the Pullman Hotel had 450 attendees and was a night to remember.

Our special guest this year was award-winning Dr Michelle Dickinson, best known as "Nanogirl". Michelle is a passionate researcher and teacher with a love of science and engineering, and has made it her life mission to make science and engineering accessible for all. Her background in biomedical and materials engineering gives her a unique perspective into how nature and technology can learn from each other for scientific developments.

Congratulations to all the winners announced on the night. See below for an overview of the winners of each award.
