The Unitec Movie Night is a relaxed social event bringing together engineering, surveying, and construction students for an evening of connection, entertainment, and a well-earned break from study.
The featured movie for the night will be Project Hail Mary, a science-fiction story centred around space exploration, problem-solving, teamwork, and engineering-style thinking making it a great fit for our student community.
Students will be able to enjoy the movie in a casual and welcoming environment while meeting new people and connecting with fellow students from across the engineering community. Popcorn and snacks will be available during the movie, with pizza and drinks provided afterwards, giving everyone time to stay back, socialise, and get to know each other.
The event is being organised through a collaboration between Engineering New Zealand (ENZ) and the Engineering, Surveying & Construction (ESC) Club, with the aim of strengthening student connections and creating a fun, inclusive campus experience.
