We have an opportunity to hear from Warren Ladbrook, a Kiwi Engineer who has extensive experience of working in the USA. He proposes to provide a snapshot from the USA of leading edge project management and leadership for Engineers.
This will be an engaging session to hear about how engineering projects are being run in the USA, from the viewpoint of a 6th generation Kiwi who is helping lead the industry in that country. It will be a short overview of leading-edge behaviours that result in increased profit, higher client satisfaction, and more sustainable growth.
Warren Ladbrook introduces himself as a reformed engineer. Warren has purposefully built broad experience in business cases, planning, surveying, engineering, construction, project delivery, program management, and business operations. He has approximately 40 years of international industry experience in a progressive range of different roles, including work within New Zealand, the United States, and further abroad. He presently serves as Senior Director of Project Management at WithersRavenel, a growing consultancy firm based in North Carolina. He also serves as an instructor for PSMJ, teaching Project Management to Architects and Engineers across the USA, and also Coaching & Leadership within our industry. Further, he still does targeted consulting work for certain New Zealand clients. Warren is a Chartered Professional Engineer in New Zealand, a Fellow of Engineering NZ, and he is also a Professional Engineer in six US states. He holds his PMP, and has numerous other qualifications.
During the event a light lunch will be provided.
