Engineering New Zealand’s East Coast Branch invites you to a guided site visit of Gisborne District Council’s Wastewater Treatment Plant. This is a chance to walk through the full treatment process—from inlet works and primary treatment through to biological treatment, disinfection and discharge—and to see how the network and plant are managed together during wet-weather and high-flow events.

The visit will be led by Tracey Panton, WWTP Manager who will share practical insights from running the plant day-to-day.

The event will include a short introduction, safety briefing, a guided walk of key treatment assets and a Q&A session over light refreshments.

Attendance can be recorded towards your CPD hours.

Please note: Closed-toe shoes are essential.
