Acme Engineering have made a number of sculptures recently and in the next few weeks or months, the sculpture on view during this plant visit will be installed not far from the existing sculpture pictured above.

After viewing the sculpture, guests will have the opportunity of a guided tour through the Acme Engineering workshops followed by Q&A and refreshments in the workshop canteen.

The trial assembly of the sculpture will occur early next week and the sculpture will only remain assembled for a very short time before being disassembled for painting – hence the short notice for this site visit.

PPE Required: Closed toe footwear.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:

For ease of parking participants may park in the Acme Engineering yard at the Northern end of their site (just before the motorway overbridge and Kmart carpark if heading North on Hutt Rd).

The tour will start from the workshop yard where the sculpture will be erected outside the building.
