Presenter Biographies:
Dani began her career studying Architectural Drafting and Technology at Otago Polytechnic and has since gained 15 years of industry experience. After working on a range of residential projects, she joined Warren and Mahoney 10 years ago and has since contributed to several significant projects, including the New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), Taranaki Base Hospital, Manukau Health Park and various apartment and retirement living projects.

Throughout her career, Dani has developed extensive knowledge of the built environment, with a particular interest in façade design and compliance. She is committed to project leadership and achieving design excellence through robust technical solutions, sharing knowledge, and gaining insights from the industry leaders she works alongside.

Jerry is a mechanical engineer at Beca and is approaching 5 years in the building services industry after graduating from the University of Auckland. His primary area of focus is heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC for short); however, he has also dabbled in medical and laboratory gas systems. Key projects he has worked on include the Te Kotuku Maternity Building at Whangārei Hospital, and the E Tū Wairua Hinengaro Forensic Mental Health building at Mason Clinic. He is currently committed to give back to the community through designing buildings in the healthcare and education sectors.

Outside of Beca, Jerry also serves as the New Zealand Young Engineers Network chair for the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). This is a group focused on running events for building services professionals in their early careers across the country - in that way it is similar to SESOC ESE but for the building services industry!
