Join the Northland Branch, local contractors, and Steve McDonald for a tour of the Australasia Moulding Ltd factory and of the ROMOLD prefabricated chamber system for wastewater and stormwater.
The system uses polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) components in modular DN1000 manhole and DN625 maintenance chambers for installation to six metres depth and resistance to five metres of groundwater. Height is adjusted with riser rings; bases are pre‑benched for common pipe sizes, with options to customise inlet angles, levels and larger diameters (e.g., DN475). Lateral seals allow watertight side connections without welding.
Steve will also outline available configurations, custom configuration options, connection methods for PVC and PE pipelines, and typical New Zealand use cases. The session will cover detailing, approvals, and support Australasia Moulding provides – from workshop modifications to on‑site training.
A BBQ and light refreshments will be provided.
This event is kindly sponsored by Australasia Moulding Ltd.
