Are you looking for a way to give back to Aotearoa New Zealand’s engineering profession? No matter how big or small the donation – your support is hugely valued and your contribution helps toward our goal of ensuring a thriving, enduring engineering profession.

Donations

We rely on the generosity of members and people who make donations or bequests. We’re very grateful to anyone who kindly makes a financial contribution.

What will my money go toward?

You can be assured your donation will go toward a meaningful cause, helping engineers in one or more of the following ways:

  • Funding projects or initiatives through our grant programme that'll make a difference and improve the future of the profession
  • Financially supporting members through hardship
  • Supporting the next generation of engineers through scholarship opportunities.

How do I make a donation?

You can donate your desired amount via our Engineering New Zealand Foundation Givealittle page. Any donations over $5.00 are tax deductible. You can chose to provide a one-off donation, or set up a fortnightly or monthly giving amount.

Another way you can contribute to the Foundation is via a bequest – the act of giving or leaving something by will. Find out more below.

Gift for the future

You can make bequest by asking your lawyer to add it in your will when it’s drawn up or revised. As estates can be divided in different ways, and there are also several different ways you can make a bequest, it’s important to ensure your bequest is tailored accordingly to your specific wishes.
