The term VUCA (Volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) is increasingly being used to describe our modern workplaces and our lives!

Working or living in a VUCA environment is a leading cause of stress and uncertainty in our lives. This webinar will:

- Help participants understand the impact of uncertainty
- Discuss how stress affects our brains
- Introduce a model for helping balance emotions
- Equip people with practical skills on how to manage stress and uncertainty

Hear from Dr Dougal Sutherland from Umbrella Wellbeinga clinical psychologist for over 20 years and is the CEO of Umbrella Wellbeing. Dougal’s work providing psychological support to workplaces and employees has seen him assist an array of organisations, including government departments and private companies. Dougal is also an Adjunct Teaching Fellow at Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington in the School of Psychology clinical psychology training programme, where he contributes to the training of the next generation of clinical psychologists.
