In this webinar, the programme lead will provide a comprehensive overview of the degree, including who it's designed for and how it supports students from a range of engineering and technical backgrounds. You'll learn how the programme is structured, as well as practical details such as campus locations and start dates.

You'll also hear from current students and graduates about their experiences of the programme, including their undergraduate backgrounds, research projects, and where their studies have taken them.

An Engineering Masters demonstrates your research expertise, initiative, sound judgment, and ability to communicate complex ideas and highly marketable skills that expand career opportunities and employability now and in the future.

This webinar will be hosted by Professor Mark Jones. A materials engineer specialising in ceramics, he began his career in Japan working on advanced industrial research collaborations after completing his PhD in the UK. Now Co-Director of the New Zealand Product Accelerator, he leads industry-focused R&D partnerships that drive real-world impact. A Chartered Engineer, he is passionate about connecting research, innovation, and commercial outcomes. He will be joined by a current student of the programme, as well as a graduate.
