An accomplished aerospace engineer, he began his career working on the Columbus module of the International Space Station and Space Shuttle payloads. After earning a PhD and becoming a professor, he led major research initiatives in space engineering. Now Director of the Space Institute at the University of Auckland, he drives cutting-edge satellite missions and innovation.
