If you’re involved in the design of LV electrical installations, then this presentation will be for you.
This presentation will start with a short history of earthing leading into modern earthing systems before moving on to examine each earthing system technique's advantages and disadvantages with the latest protection technologies. In addition, Darren will discuss the earthing system requirements for situations that are becoming more prevalent such as EV chargers and stand-alone installations.
Key Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the presentation, attendees will understand:
• Earthing systems: TN-C-S (MEN), TT, TNS and IT systems.
• The merits of main earthing system techniques and their uses for designers
• Earthing systems and their compatibility with the current AS/NZS 3000 standards
This presentation is available to attend both online and in person.
For those attending in person, doors open at 5:00pm for drinks and nibbles. The presentation will start at 5:30pm sharp.
