Join your fellow engineers with the Northland Branch on a site tour of the Gillingham Road Bridge.
The Gillingham Road Bridge is being replaced with a single-span hollow core structure designed to improve resilience, traffic flow and pedestrian access. The new bridge features piled abutments and a cantilevered shared-use path, supporting both current and future transport needs for the significant urban growth earmarked for the area.
Construction is well underway with bridge beams ready for lifting into place mid-September.
PPE Required: Hard hats, hi-vis vests and safety boots.
