Health and Safety by Design is a topic often overlooked by design engineers but it is legally mandated in s39 of the HSW Act.
Should fire engineers be considering this? How does one 'do' Health and Safety by Design anyway? Is my Acceptable Solution design necessarily safe? or as safe as we can reasonably make it? What do I say to my clients who just see extra cost?
We're hoping some animated and useful conversations can be had as we tackle this important topic (with some complimentary refreshments to help the conversation flow).
