Presentation 1: Reeves Rd Flyover (Auckland Eastern Busway)
Discussion on construction and temporary works related to the Reeves Rd. flyover currently being built as part of the Eastern Busway Project in East Auckland. The bridge is 600m long, 18m wide and constructed from integral Super Ts supported on 3m diameter piles and architectural flared reinforced concrete piers. This talk will include design and detailing of temporary works as well as lifting and handling of components in a confined environment.
Presentation 2: Ngaakooroa Stream Temporary Bridge (Drury, Auckland)
This presentation will discuss the design and build of a 52m span structure over the existing Ngaakooroa stream for the Papakura to Drury phase 1B project. The focus will be on the management of site constraints during the design and build phase through collaboration, including bridge launching and working under live 220kV overhead cables.
