Join us for an exclusive site visit to the Stratford Power Station, a crucial part of New Zealand's energy infrastructure.
Stratford Power Station, located in Taranaki, has been a key player in New Zealand’s energy landscape since 1997. Using natural gas in a combined-cycle setup, it produces 350MW of electricity—enough to power approximately 400,000 homes. As part of our transition to a low-emissions future, Stratford plays a vital role in keeping the lights on across the country.
Now’s your chance to step inside the heart of electricity and see how it all works!
Please meet at the BECA Office promptly at 1.00pm if you wish to carpool or you could meet us at Stratford War Memorial at 1.40pm if you're unsure of the site location. Alternatively, meet us at Stratford Power Station at 2.00pm for the site visit.
