The Canterbury Young Engineers are joining Conservation Volunteers New Zealand planting native trees at Steadfast Stream Reserve at Cass Bay (just around the corner from Lyttelton).
Feel free to bring gardening gloves, your own water, sun hat, sunglasses, warm clothes and rain jacket just in case. Please wear sturdy shoes or tramping boots. A family friendly BBQ lunch will be provided for afterwards, along with the option to discuss the day’s planing over an afternoon drink at Eruption Brewery in Lyttelton.
The postponement date is Sunday 19th July if the weather is not suitable.
