Business Land Framework presentation and TTOC visit
The Transportation Group – BOP branch is pleased to present this event with speakers Mark Appeldoorn (Transport Planner, Boffa Miskell) and Brent Musk (Policy Planner, TCC), followed by a tour of the new Tauranga Transport Operations Centre hosted by Duncan Wilson (Traffic Systems Engineer, TCC).
- The team from TCC and Boffa Miskell will be sharing their research, investigation, evaluations, and findings from TCC’s business land framework project. The project seeks to undertake a comprehensive review of the industrial and commercial chapters of the Tauranga City Plan to enable integrated management of business land to support well-functioning urban environments now, and into the future.
- Duncan will provide the attendees with an opportunity to step inside the new TTOC at TCC’s new 90 Devonport Road building, and provide some insights into the importance of this team and the role their work plays in managing our transport network 24/7.
The presentations and tour will conclude around 5pm following which attendees are invited to network over a drink and some nibbles in the new TCC office break-out area on Level 5 with a view!
