Looking to connect with fellow fire engineers, stay on top of emerging topics, and share insights in a relaxed, welcoming setting? Auckland Fire Side Chats is a bi-monthly gathering for fire engineering professionals at all levels—from early career to seasoned experts—designed to foster conversation, community, and continued learning.

Join us from 5:00pm for refreshments and informal networking, with formal discussions kicking off at 5:30pm and aiming to wrap up at 6.30pm.

This session will discuss Acceptable Solution C/AS1 and start with two 5-minute presentations to get the conversation going:

1. Scope of the document, when to use and when not to use
2. Firefighting access challenges and Plan Change 79

Hosted by the SFPE NZ Chapter, this event is your opportunity to engage in meaningful technical discussions, explore challenges and innovations across the fire engineering landscape, and build valuable industry connections. Whether you're interested in design, modelling, regulatory changes, fire science, or anything in between, these sessions aim to cover a wide range of relevant and practical topics.

If you're passionate about fire engineering and want to be part of a professional community that learns and grows together, Auckland Fire Side Chats is for you. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your voice—we’ll bring the snacks and beverages.
