This session will cover the technical delivery of the digital twin survey, its integration with the TEC, and the strategic roadmap for rolling out this capability across the wider business to unlock new operational use cases.
Presenter Bios:
Christopher Whyte is the KiwiRail Delivery Manager for the Track Evaluation Car Project within the Rolling Stock Contracts – Rolling Stock Asset Integrity Team. Since contract award, he has led the delivery of the project, bringing over 19 years of railway experience gained across the United Kingdom, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand. Starting his career as a Signalling Technician, Christopher has built extensive experience in the delivery of complex railway projects and the application of systems engineering principles, including requirements management, system integration, operational readiness, and assurance. His combination of technical, operational, and project leadership expertise supports the successful delivery of critical rail asset programmes.
Aydin Partridge-Long is a Product Owner at KiwiRail, where he leads digital product initiatives that improve asset management, safety, and operational performance across the infrastructure business. With a background in product management, digital transformation, and organisational change, Aydin has successfully delivered large-scale technology implementations and driven adoption of new ways of working across organisations. At KiwiRail, Aydin led the implementation and adoption of the XERRA, a network visualisation platform, achieving more than regular active daily users and establishing it as a valuable tool for understanding asset relationships and supporting better decision-making across the rail network.
