Starting out in bridge engineering or looking to strengthen your fundamentals? Join our Bridge Design 101 seminar series—an engaging three-part programme tailored for engineers with 5 years’ experience or less (with everyone welcome!).
This series brings together industry experts from across New Zealand to walk you through the essentials of bridge design, from the basis of design, superstructure and foundation design to seismic design considerations and bridge design case studies. Each session combines practical insights, lessons learned, and opportunities to connect with peers over refreshments.
Whether you’re refreshing your knowledge, or curious about bridge design and constructability, this is your chance to learn directly from experienced engineers and expand your professional network.
This is a free event, and open to all engineering professionals, and university students. Each event is hosted in person, in a different venue across Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington. Online attendance is also welcomed so you can join in on all three events.
Come along, ask questions, and start building your bridge design expertise!
