Join NZIA Emerge (New Zealand Institute of Architects) and the Canterbury Young Engineers for an evening exploring the complexities of large-scale hillside developments through recent work on Christchurch's Cashmere Estate ridgeline.

Gain valuable insights from civil engineer Michael Paterson and architect Ashton Wright as they discuss land development and design challenges, and enjoy a chance to network with peers across both industries over food and drinks.

This event will feature two presentations from industry experts discussing their experience working on a recent development along the Cashmere Estate ridgeline. The two presentations will provide early-career practitioners with insight into some of the complexities involved in large-scale hillside developments.

Join us for food, drinks, and the opportunity to network with fellow practitioners across the architecture and engineering industries.

About the speakers:
Michael Paterson is a director and civil engineer at Inovo, with extensive experience in land development and civil engineering. Ashton Wright is a director and architect at Hierarchy Group, with experience delivering projects ranging from high-end residential homes to large-scale commercial and multi-residential developments.

Event details:
Located on the ground floor of the Warren and Mahoney office in Christchurch. Walk in any time between 5.30 – 6PM. Presentations will begin from 6PM onwards.
