This Alumni Networking Night will bring together Unitec engineering students, alumni, and industry professionals for an evening focused on career pathways, industry insight, and practical advice for entering the engineering profession.
The event will include guest speakers who will share their journey from study into industry, discuss the companies they work for, and provide insight into the types of projects, roles, and opportunities available for students and graduates. Topics will include internships, graduate programmes, networking, interview preparation, workplace expectations, and tips for building confidence when applying for engineering roles.
Confirmed guest speakers include Rayyan Hassan, James Mascarina, and Dmitri Marintchenko, who will each bring valuable experience and perspectives from the engineering industry. Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions, meet speakers directly, and build professional connections in a relaxed environment.
This event is organised in collaboration with Engineering New Zealand student ambassadors and Unitec, with the aim of supporting student engagement, employability, and stronger links between students, alumni, and industry.
