Join the Nelson-Marlborough Branch and Young Engineers for a presentation with Gina Yukich, one of the Technical Design Leads in the Marlborough Roads Recovery Team (MRRT).
Formed in 2021 to repair the extensive storm damage to the Marlborough Sounds roading network, hear from Gina on the progress of the recovery works, with design works nearing completion, and the end in sight for construction on parts of the network.
Gina will also discuss insights into the key challenges, learnings, and innovative solutions that MRRT has been implementing over the last 5 years in the effort to deliver a cost-effective, risk-based, and practical recovery programme for the region.
A light lunch will be provided. The room capacity is limited so register early!
