Kennie Tsui FEngNZ CPEng IntPE(NZ) has been elected as the new President of Engineering New Zealand Te Ao Rangahau. Kennie will serve a two-year term leading the Board and representing the profession.
An experienced engineer and long-standing member of the Engineering New Zealand Board, Kennie brings a strong commitment to service and governance. She is passionate about ensuring the organisation delivers impact for members and continues to strengthen the profession’s voice nationally.

Kennie also emphasises the need to support engineers in delivering sustainable solutions to the effects of climate change and the importance of equity, diversity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in shaping the future of the profession, alongside ensuring engineers have a trusted regulatory and professional framework.
In addition to Kennie’s appointment, the membership has elected several new Board members: Deputy President Keryn Kliskey FEngNZ CPEng, and Board Directors Deborah Curd CMEngNZ CPEng and Felicity Glenie CMEngNZ CPEng IntPE(NZ).
Keryn Kliskey brings over 40 years of engineering experience to the Deputy President role, from a career working across the civil, structural and transportation disciplines. He is currently a Major Project Director at WSP. In addition to his technical skills and experience working on major infrastructure projects, he brings extensive governance experience, including chairing the CPEng Board for the last four years, as a previous President of ACE NZ and on various Project Alliance Boards.
Deborah Curd is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 25 years experience in structural engineering across New Zealand and Internationally. Her background includes seismic design and assessment, complex commercial and industrial projects, and leadership during Christchurch’s post-earthquake recovery. She currently works as the National Structural Manager at Kirk Roberts Consulting.
Felicity Glenie has spent over 20 years delivering complex infrastructure across Aotearoa. She has extensive experience governing and leading multidisciplinary projects through design and construction, navigating complex stakeholder environments, and advancing innovation in digital engineering and collaborative delivery models. She is currently the Executive General Manager National Projects and Winning Work at HEB Construction.
The new Board appointments take effect on Monday 23 March.
