Our membership symbol is designed for you to use to show your level of professionalism and credibility as an Engineering New Zealand member.
Guidelines
Where can I use my Official Member symbol?
You can use your symbol on personal collateral such as your email signature and business cards to show your affiliation to Engineering New Zealand.
The Official Member symbol should not be used on company websites, or on technical documentation such as design drawings. You can use your membership post nominals (eg CMEngNZ) in these situations.
Making an impression
- Always make sure there is clear contrast between the symbol and background.
- Never tint the symbol. Always use it as solid 100% blue, black or white.
Which colour version should I use?
Use the blue version of your symbol wherever possible.
- CMYK – use on print documents, always on white or light backgrounds.
- RGB – use on screen, always on white or light backgrounds.
- Reversed (white) – use on screen or print documents, always on dark backgrounds.
- Black – use where only black or greyscale printing is available.
Which file type should I use?
- .jpeg – use on print documents. Can only be placed on a white background.
- .png – use on web or screen-based presentations and documents. Can be placed on any colour background. Use in print if you need to place on a coloured background.
