Employer virtual catch up
Our informal catch-up sessions provide a valuable opportunity to connect with industry peers, discuss challenges, and share practical solutions. These 55-minute meetings bring together managing directors, senior managers, people managers, and HR professionals from consultancies, contractors, manufacturers, and local government.

- Held every quarter via MS Teams
- Tuesdays at 3:00 PM
- Free to attend
If you or your team leaders would like to participate, email employers@engineeringnz.org. Outlook invites will be sent for both sessions, allowing attendees to join the one that best fits their schedule each month.

Mid-career engineers virtual catch up
We hold virtual catch ups for engineers who have been working for approximately 8-15 years. The employer catch ups have really highlighted just how much in demand these 8-15 year post-graduation engineers are.
This group of engineers meet via MS Teams quarterly on a Tuesday at 3.00pm.
The purpose of this 8-15 year group is to:
- Check in on one another
- Share ideas
- Share challenges and dealing with multiple complex projects
- Learn from one another in a safe environment
