The Southland Branch is returning to the Invercargill Pistol Club for the annual Target Shooting Competition.
There will be the Three pistol events like last time and a final fourth range for .22 target rifles, to sort the barn door hitters versus the pin head hitters. Expert tuition and active supervision will be provided by the pistol club as they will be running this corporate event for safety aspects. The President of the pistol club will run the safety briefings and conduct expectations. David Rider, our Southland Committee member will be doing a short presentation on rifle and ballistic mechanics, as well as propellant and bullet components, because we really do have to cover some engineering related knowledge at the event!
We will have the scoring competition again, so you can get competitive and win the title and be crowned the sharpest shot around. AND you will have the honour of receiving the TROPHY with your name engraved for all eternity for others to swoon over.
Please arrive to the venue between 5 -5.30PM.
There will be Pizza supplied for dinner and a selection of soft drinks and water for you included in your ticket price.
THIS IS A NO ALCOHOL OR DRUG EVENT – even for 12 hours prior to the event.
PPE (safety glasses) and hearing protection is required (ear foam squishy's are best).
It's that time again to show up your colleagues and prove who is the best shot in the office! then display the trophy to remind them for the next year.
