Get a deeper, practical look at key HVAC components, with an emphasis on design intent, performance outcomes, compliance requirements, and real-world application challenges.
The session will begin with technical presentations covering two Price Holyoake product ranges – Noise Control and Fire & Smoke Dampers. We will also look at some of the new products released by Price Holyoake. Following the presentations, you can join the guided tour of the Auckland manufacturing facility, giving attendees an overview of our production processes, quality approach, and key equipment, including the new powder coating line and automated CNC systems.
You may opt to attend both paid training sessions (from 2:30PM to 5PM) or the free guided factory tour only (5PM to 6PM).
Option 1: $20 for both technical training sessions and guided factory tour from 2:30PM.
Option 2: Free to attend the guided factory tour only from 5PM.

It also provides an overview of the noise control solutions available through Price Holyoake, highlighting practical, compliant, and cost-effective approaches for real-world applications.
Technical Presentation 2: Fire and Smoke Dampers in HVAC Systems: Design for Compliance
This presentation provides an overview of fire and smoke dampers as critical life safety components within HVAC systems. It introduces key definitions and classifications, reviews the current NZBC and relevant standards, and outlines essential installation, inspection, and maintenance requirements. The session also examines common compliance risks, performance considerations, and provides an overview of available fire and smoke damper solutions from Price Holyoake.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to examine physical product samples, review internal mechanisms, and discuss application-specific questions with our technical team.
