How do I register for the forum? 

Members need to sign up by completing the form at forum.engineeringnz.org/register. You will need your email address as username, password, and membership number.

What’s the website address to get direct to the member forum? 

The forum is hosted at forum.engineeringnz.org.

How do I get technical assistance? 

There is Contact Us function on the forum – this comes to us at Engineering New Zealand. Our staff will be able to support you with your query or we will refer to Invision, the provider that hosts the forum.

Can I customise the content I see displayed first? 

Yes, you can choose to see the newest content first, or the most popular content.

How do I search for content? 

There is a search function at the top of the forum, and there are also pre-defined tags that you can apply to your content. You can also create your own tags for content.

Is the forum moderated? 

No. The forum will be self moderating and we expect everyone to follow etiquette when they sign up to take part. There are also Terms and Conditions and Guidelines all participants must accept. In a nutshell, members must interact respectfully, only post their own content or that which they have permission to use, not promote or solicit commercial activity, and content must not be illegal.

What happens if I have concerns about content posted on the forum? 

Users can report posts that concern them and we will review these. We will remove content that breaches the forum Terms and Conditions and Guidelines.
