This course will provide an overview of the producer statement system, explain the use of the PS 1 Design, PS 2 Design Review and PS 4 Construction Review forma, and provide some useful tips for completing them.

Although producer statements are no longer mandated under the Building Act,  virtually all Building Consent Authorities (BCAs) continue to rely upon them when considering building consent applications and code compliance certificates. The course will provide an overview of the producer statement system and some important tips that professional engineers need to be aware of when using them.

The course would be suitable for engineers working in the building and construction sector from new graduates through to experienced Chartered Professional Engineers.

The course will provide an overview of the producer statement system, explain the use of the PS 1 – Design, PS 2 Design Review and PS 4 Construction Review forma, and provide some useful tips for completing them.

It is expected that the attendees of the course will be able to use the acquired knowledge immediately in a consulting environment.
