Our population is aging. It’s essential that the design of our city – community facilities, businesses, housing and public spaces - meets the physical and cognitive needs of an aging population. We all need to better understand and contribute to making our city more age-friendly. This has benefits for all!
Lunch walk – 12 noon to 1pm: (FREE)
Start @Tūranga library Small group guided walk around the central city to raise awareness of the issues an aging population face (this means 40 years plus!)
Workshop – 1pm – 3pm: (FREE/$10)
